Ans :we know that at 3:00 clock angle is 90 degrees
angle made by hour hand=90+t*(1/2)
by minute hand=6*t
if hour hand is ahead
===>90+t/2-6*t=50
11*t/2=80
t=7 3/11
means at 3:07 3/11
if minute hand is ahead
6*t-90-t/2=50
11*t=240
t=25 5/11
means at 3:25 5/11

12 hr=360 degree
1 hr =360/12=30 degree
1hr=60 min=30/60=1/2 deg=50*1/2=25 ...so it will be 3.25 min

5.There are 8 digits and 5 alphabets.In how many ways can you form an alphanumeric word using 3 digits

and 2 alphabets?

Ans :3 digits from 8 digits cn b done in 8C3 ways
2 alphabets from 5 alphabets cn b done in 5C2 ways
Now dis selected 5 characters cn b arranged in 5! ways
So answer = (8C3*5C2)*5!=67200

6.There are two containers on a table. A and B. A is half full of wine, while B,which is twice A's

size, is one quarter full of wine. Both containers are filled with water and the contents are poured

into a third container C. What portion of container C's mixture is wine?

Ans :A cap is 2 lit = 1 lit water + 1 lit wine
B cap is 4 lit = 1 lit wine + 3 lit water
Total we have 2 lit wine + 4 lit water
The portion of wine is 2/6
=1/3 or 33.33%

conclude that each team has played a match with every other team

8.Cencus population of a district in 1981 was 4.54 lacs, while in year 2001 it was 7.44 lacs. What was

the estimated mid-year population of that district in year 2009.

diff=20 diff=2.9
2001......>7.44
diff=8 this diff=(8*2.9)/20=1.16
2009......>x=?
hence x=7.44+1.16=8.6 lac
